Important Info.:

Unfortunately the United States of America keeps afraid of the un-know other part of the world. They now found a new way to keep themselves ´save´ and annoy the rest of the world.

From January 12, 2009 every foreigner who wants to travel into or even trough the U.S.A. has to registrar him or herself on a special website of the U.S.A. government:  https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov

More info on: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2007/10/12/flying_into_data_hell/,  http://nerulepcfs01.erulemaking.net/outage.htm

If you don´t do this, (some) airliners are not aloud to take you on their planes, so be warned!

On November the 13th the Dutch Airliner KLM told me that they already give most of the personal info about their passengers to the USA government, they couldn´t tell me how this affects with the new rules of 2009? It could be that their passengers do not have to registrate themselfs, but that the airliner now has to send all info about its passangers until 72 hours before the flight leaves, now they have to send this info at last 15 minutes before the plane leaves.
